My love affair with flowers began early. Perhaps it was fate — named Heather, after all — but I’ve always felt destined to make beauty my life’s work.
I’ve long been drawn to the expressive and the elemental: art that hums, music that reverberates, landscapes that stop you mid-step. I’m endlessly inspired by the tension between restraint and drama — and I chase that balance in every event I design.
When I create, I’m not thinking only about how something looks. I’m thinking about how it lands. How it moves you. What it says without announcing itself. The work is deeply collaborative — listening for what’s said and what isn’t — translating emotion, intention, and nuance into atmosphere. Whether it’s a wedding, a corporate gathering, or a philanthropic gala, the goal is the same: authenticity with edge.
Early in my career, I learned that creativity without execution is just decoration. Vision is only powerful if you can build it — and I love building it. Logistics thrill me. Timelines, flow, production mechanics — they’re part of the alchemy. A flawlessly executed event is as breathtaking to me as any candlelit tablescape.
My aim is simple: to conjure experiences that feel singular. Design that tells a story. Rooms that shift the air. Moments that linger long after the last glass is cleared.
When I’m not wrestling with website bios, you’ll find me wandering an art museum (Mark Rothko and Joan Mitchell forever), standing in the dark at live music (Kim Gordon at the Fillmore? Yes, please), or outside reminding myself to actually stop and smell the roses. I have a habit of noticing the overlooked — and wanting to befriend nearly every creature I encounter.
